| In 2006, Kannaltec Berhad
acquired Obnet Sdn Bhd – a
company granted a 20-year concession by the Selangor State Government
to design, supply, install, operate and maintain a broadband network
infrastructure for government offices in Selangor. |
The Group has invested RM30million to build a RELIABLE, MANAGEABLE,
HIGH PERFORMANCE and SCALABLE broadband network infrastructure that
will create a virtual community to connect all Selangor State Government
Departments, Statutory Bodies, Municipals and Local Authorities,
Government Linked Companies and Government Agencies. Today, these
agencies are connected via a high-speed broadband network which supports
data, voice and video applications. |
